Explain what you think are some of the key differences between cyber security, cyber awareness and cyber safety. To what extent are you teaching these in the classroom or do you think they should be taught?

Cyber security refers to the protection when using the internet, keeping safe from threats and attacks; cyber awareness means being aware and understanding the potential threats and attacks we are open to when using the internet. Cyber safety is the practices we use when online in order to keep ourselves safe, such as having multiple passwords, logging out of devices and never sharing our passwords with anyone.

I think all three of these subjects should be taught in depth in the classroom as so much of our lives is done online and it is increasing day by day, so students should be aware of how to keep themselves safe when accessing the Internet.
