Cyber security refers to the measures we use to protect computers from digital attacks, for example, secure system design and implementation of security controls. Cyber awareness is the knowledge that allow us to protect our information and our assets. We must understand how to protect our information and how to safely avoid threats. Finally, cyber safety is being able to use information communication technologies responsibly and in a safe manner.

I believe it is important that students are taught all of these concepts in the classroom, as use of technology is ever increasing both in the classroom and in everyday life. Students must understand how to communicate online in a safe manner, how to keep their information secure, and measures they can take to protect their information.
