Attackers in the future, if they aren’t already, will use deepfake technology to simulate your appearance via amalgamation of self-uploaded digital images. They will also mimic your voice via similar means, or simply use malware to activate your phone’s microphone and record yourself throughout the day etc. An example of updated cyberware attacks come in the form of highly addictive social media apps, such as Tiktok developed by global competitor, China. For example, when you agree to Tiktok’s terms of service, the app acts as malware and is now permitted to track your keystrokes, other file names on the device, and access other linked devices to your phone, among other things. Are the dopamine hits worth capitulation to an eventual social credit score society?
