Hi I'm a Technology teacher in rural NSW and came across this course on the Digital Technologies Hub. I have a fair bit of programming experience in terms of teaching but I always struggled to fairly assess student progress. So far the course has given me great ideas on how to do this. I work with schools and organisations to build capacity for STEM teaching and learning. I run primary and high school STEM workshops and am taking this course to update my skills and knowledge in the 9&10 domain 🙂

I am a teacher of 7-10 DT in a secondary school in the NT. Over the past few years, student knowledge and interest has grown considerably so that students are now choosing DT as an elective for the entire year. As a result I need to develop new courses to cater for the growth of interest and participation.

Hello my name is Jonathan, but I prefer to be called J (just J, like the 10th letter of the alphabet). I have been teaching IT for many years (I also have taught Japanese) in QLD schools. I am doing this course to try to keep my knowledge current with our current curriculum.

I am also interested in starting and #Hourofcode club at my current school. Is anyone in our group already doing this?
